Family, friends, athletes, and the Queensbury and Glens Falls communities are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Israel Deltoro, who passed away on July 20, 2026, following injuries sustained in a tragic accident. His passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew him, while his legacy of service, leadership, and encouragement will continue to inspire generations.
A proud military veteran, Israel transformed the discipline and resilience he developed through military service into a lifelong mission of helping others achieve their goals. As the owner and head coach of ADK Fitness and ADK CrossFit, he created more than a gym—he built a welcoming community where people of all ages and abilities were encouraged to become stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Israel earned the respect of athletes and colleagues through his expertise as a certified strength and conditioning coach, USA Powerlifting coach, USA Olympic Weightlifting coach, and CrossFit trainer. He also devoted countless hours to mentoring young athletes, serving as a strength and conditioning coach for local football, basketball, and hockey programs. His positive attitude, infectious smile, and unwavering belief in others made him an exceptional leader and role model.
Above all, Israel was a devoted father, beloved son, loyal friend, and compassionate mentor. Those closest to him remember his generosity, humility, and willingness to support anyone in need. His encouragement extended far beyond fitness, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals who looked to him for guidance and inspiration.
Military funeral honors will be held at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life at ADK Fitness, where family, friends, and community members will gather to honor his remarkable life.
