His hard work and perseverance earned him the respect of teammates, coaches, and classmates, who admired not only his athletic ability but also his humility and positive spirit.
Dawson previously competed with the Pelham Panthers in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League, where he established himself as a dependable and hardworking player. During the 2025–2026 season with the Redeemer Royals, he enjoyed an outstanding rookie campaign, recording impressive offensive numbers and earning the team’s Rookie of the Year honor. His achievements reflected countless hours of dedication and an unwavering love for the game.
